Book Worm was an enemy of Batman who was obsessed with books.
History
At some point, Book Worm disappeared from the public eye, seemingly ending his criminal career.
During Riddler's reminiscencing about the past, he mentioned Book Worm as one of the villains who had disappeared in recent years, along with Egg Head, Marsha, Queen Of Diamonds and King Tut, and expressed visible sadness, wondering where they went.[1]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the comic book stories considered to be set on New Earth. It is an adaptation of Bookworm. The original character was created by William Dozier, Larry Peerce, and Hendrik Vollaerts and first appeared in the episode "The Bookworm Turns" of the series Batman.
