Synopsis for "The Night Has Two-Thousand Eyes"

Booster Gold watched in horror as Blackguard had hit Skeets with his energy mace. After the battle, Dirk and Skip both expressed their belief that they would draw positive attention.

At the 1000 base, under Centennial Park, the Director used his android to take down Blackguard after an argument with him. That night, Rose Forrest changed into the Thorn. At Reilleau Towers, after finishing reports for Dirk, Trixie planned to return to her home when Dirk instructed her to type up a press release on the prison break.

Meanwhile, Booster would be going on a date with Monica Lake at The Imperial. Although Monica claimed that they had been dating for weeks, they had actually known each other for an hour and she had only made the claim for publicity. During their date, Booster went on about his exploits, boring her. Then, Booster was summoned and left behind his annoyed date. While making his way to the roof, he encountered Senator Ballard, who asked him to campaign on his behalf, although the hero rushed away.

Rose watched as Booster Gold was flying towards Centennial Park. When he arrived at Centennial Park, he was reunited Skeets, who was not destroyed by Blackguard. At Newtown, Trixie was brought to her Aunt Jeanie's house by Eddie. When she entered the house, Aunt Jeanie showed her news coverage of Booster's and Monica's rumored engagement.

Meanwhile, Skeets led Booster into the 1000 base under Centennial Park, evading the defense systems until Mindancer confronted and defeated him with her brain bolt. At approximately 3:00 AM, Senator Ballard phoned Myron and declared that it was time to move against Booster Gold and Goldstar, Inc.

Booster Gold woke up a prisoner in the base with Skeets and Mindancer prepared to execute the former, alongside Blackguard.
