Synopsis for "To Cross the Rubicon"
Jason Redfern was pedaling his bike through Centennial Park when he came upon an alien ship and became acquainted with an alien before returning to his home with it. When Jason believed that the alien was looking for Superman, he turned on his TV and saw Booster Gold before going to Goldstar Inc.'s headquarters and telling Trixie that he needed to see Booster. Meanwhile, Booster was studying the 20th Century with Skeets in his hot tub before Trixie phoned him about the alien. When Booster met Jason and was shown the alien, they believed that he wanted to contact Superman, so the time-traveling hero told Dirk to issue a challenge to Superman in order to get his attention.
The next morning, Clark Kent changed into Superman to answer Booster Gold's challenge at the Baker Dam. Superman deduced that Booster and Skeets were from the future and the robotic sidekick revealed how they met and how the hero from the future came to be. As Superman and Booster Gold argued, the alien called Z caught the Kryptonian's attention. Superman learned that Z was being chased by a spaceship moments before the two aliens and the two time travelers were knocked unconscious before being abducted by the spaceship.
