Boris, later named Boris Zinoviev, was a minor member of the Blackhawk Squadron during World War II, originally from the Soviet Union. Originally introduced in the team's second appearance as one of several who never showed up again, he was later reintroduced as an MIA Blackhawk who returned as a mercenary named Anti-Man. When Howard Chaykin rebooted the team, he was a member who was killed early on in the war.
Boris was created by Will Eisner and Chuck Cuidera, first appearing in Military Comics #2 (1941).
