Brainiac, a green-skinned android built by Dr. Heckla, seeks to repopulate Mega, a planet desolated by nuclear wars, with living beings from Earth.[2] His attempts put him in the path of the Man of Steel, who constantly frustrates his plans.

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the Filmation Adventures franchise and is an adaptation of Brainiac. The original character was created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino and first appeared in Action Comics #242.
- Although in the comics Brainiac had his mental patterns based on Vril Dox, a Coluan scientist, this Brainiac's version was a "pure" android without relations with Colu.
- Brainiac was voiced by Gilbert Mack
- This the first version of the character in a media outside the comics.
