Brenda's Cafe was a café in the Fort Joseph District of Blüdhaven,[5] owned and operated by Brenda Miller, who inherited the building from her father.[1] The cafe served tea and coffee, as well as certain meals like breakfast foods.
History
When Brenda Miller inherited the shop and building, it was riddled with debt. Realtors frequently hassled her for deals, attempting to manipulate her by bringing up certain unknown elements about her past that made her uncomfortable.[1] When she befriended Cassandra Cain, the latter secretly contacted her friend Bruce Wayne to use the Wayne Foundation to assist the business as an element of community development. To celebrate the shop's newfound freedom, an ecstatic Brenda threw a neighborhood party with dancing, music, and food.[2]
Alfred Pennyworth highly praised the assam tea served here, and it later became a favorite of Cassandra's; Brenda sourced the organic tea leaves from downstate.[3]
The café was destroyed along with the rest of Blüdhaven by Chemo during Infinite Crisis, which also resulted in the death of Brenda.[4]
