Briareos, also known as Aegaeon, is one of the Hecatonchires who acts as Zeus' champion.

History

When Athena challenged Zeus for the throne of Olympus he called for a deadly contest of champions. Her champion Wonder Woman fought Zeus' champion Briareos and ended up petrifying him using Medusa's head, winning the throne for Athena.
