Dr. Bridgette Crosby was a longtime associate and former lover of Virgil Swann.
History
Due to her involvement with the Swann Foundation, Swann entrustedher with the truth about Clark Kent.[1]
In summer 2004, Swann sent Crosby to Smallville, to help Martha Kent, who was dealing with the recent return of her adopted son.[1]
A few months later, Crosby met with Edgar Cole, who gave her a piece of the Crystal of Knowledge.[2] Crosby was going to give the piece to Clark Kent, following Swann's death. However, for unknown reasons, Crosby never delivered the piece and went underground.[3]
Crosby was eventually found by Genevieve Teague and her son, Jason, who killed her and took her piece of the crystal. They dumped her body near Luthor Mansion, forcing Lex Luthor to get rid of the body.[4]
