Bridgit Pike

Bridgit Pike comes from a family of arsonists and was ultimately forced into that life when she was of age by her cruel stepbrothers. During a violent confrontation with Jim Gordon, a gas leak resulted in Bridgit accidentally setting herself on fire. She was then brought to Arkham Asylum, where Professor Hugo Strange healed her, gave her a fireproof suit, and manipulated her into becoming the pyromaniac Firefly. First introduced in the 2014 Gotham television series, the character was later adapted into the DC Comics main continuity as Lady Firefly.

Bridgit Pike was created by Bruno Heller and Jordan Harper. Her first appearance in the DC Universe comic was in Detective Comics #988. (2018)
