Broker

The Broker is the criminal alias used by Sherman Fine, a real estate agent who spotted a potential business opportunity when various super-villains began emerging in Gotham City. Purchasing many eclectic properties, he began to sell them as hideouts and secret lairs, which ultimately made him an enemy of Batman. Fine's business would become incredibly successful due to his personal policy to "never get involved" in what the villains do with the properties. Among his employees is the Carpenter, whom he calls upon whenever he needs something to be made or reconstructed.

The Broker was created by Paul Dini and Guillem March, and first appeared in Gotham City Sirens #1 (2009).
