A Brontadon is a large, reptilian beast native to the planet of Thanagar.
History
Brontadons are extremely dangerous due largely because they are so difficult to subdue. Defeating a Brontadon requires simultaneously striking its twin brains located in the sacs beneath their eyes. On one occasion, master thief Byth Rok used a Changeling Pill to assume the shape of a Brontadon in his bid to steal the Bi-State Tunnel in Midway City. Thanagarian police officers Katar Hol and his wife Shayera found a way to defeat Byth, forcing him to shed his Brontadon form.
