Bruce Wayne is a corporate executive at Wayne Enterprises who dedicated his life and his wealth towards fighting injustice and lowering the crime rate through his involvement in politics.
History
He believed that metahumans presented a great threat to humanity and fought against them, establishing a group called the Control Squad to actively hunt them down and incarcerate them. He wasn't convinced that metas could be a true force for justice until the public debut of Superman. In this incident, a group of persecuted metas stopped terrorists Poison Ivy, Metamorpho and Changeling from attacking the United Nations Building. Bruce started and financed the Justice League, a team of super-powered heroes dedicated to fighting against evil the way only they could. This team included Superman, Power Girl, Flash, Blue Beetle, Doctor Polaris, The Shark, Booster Gold, Doctor Light, Tasmanian Devil, and Fire.[1]
