Buck "The Truck" Wargo was a rich American adventurer who became a companion of Guy Gardner during a journey deep into the heart of South America.
History
Buck used to play football in the Texas State University before becoming an adventurer. Guy decided to join Buck's crew after reading about his expedition to find the Waters of Warriors: a legendary drink that is said to carry the "sweat, blood, and tears of all great warriors since the dawn of man." Both of them heard about each other's exploits, Buck and Guy quickly developed a close bond.[1]
Their expedition came to fruition when they reached the tribe of the Warrior Women of Nabba, where they not only found the Water of Warriors, but also learned that the tribe awaited Guy's arrival for centuries, for it was his destiny to drink the water.[2]
