Bucky Sharp was Guy Gardner's publicist for a time.
History
When Guy Gardner returned to Times Square showing off his new power ring and declared "war on scum," Bucky saw the opportunity to become Gardner's press agent to improve the hero's public image.[1] During a fight between Guy and Lobo for the ring -a fight Lobo won-, Bucky called the "Gardners of the Universe" and convinced them to step in and buy the ring back from Lobo. This trick cost Guy a large amount of his future salary, so he fired Bucky.[2]
