Bud and Lou

Bud and Lou are vicious hyenas and pets to the Joker, used to help him fight Batman. Harley Quinn is responsible for actively taking care of them, and refers to them as her "babies." They are named after the comedy duo Abbott and Costello. Bud and Lou were created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, first appearing as part of the DCAU in the Batman episode The Man Who Killed Batman.
