History
The Buffer Planets were home to various humanoid races which were revealed to be decended from kidnapped metahumans from Earth.
When it was revealed that the Dominators had plans to once again invade Earth, Lar Gand liberates captives of the Dominion's Metahuman prison camps. These human however have had their Meta-gene activated making it much too dangerous to return them to Earth. Lar Gand and his allies decide that it would instead be better to relocate them to other planets. He then helps these people colonize a series of "Buffer Worlds" between Earth and Elia in Dominion Space. Each planet is colonized by a specific Metahuman type, e.g Magnetism, Cryokinesis, Bio Fusion, etc.
This act elevates Lar Gand to divine status on these worlds. When he is released from the Bgtzl Stasis Zone in the 30th century, his identity is closely guarded to prevent religious chaos.
