Synopsis for "The Return of Mr. Ego"
Mr Ego is revealed to have survived. He performs crimes around the city and escapes Bulletman using a capsule of Xylil Bromide, a tear gas. He plans to get into a performance by Feodor Ryalva, the concert violinist, who is playing at Hattley Hall and owns a genuine Stradivarius violin. Ego and his henchman 'Nails' attack John Huntley the Music Critic and the Women accompanying him, leaving them bound and gagged and taking an engraved invitation for Huntely. He enters Ryalva's room and takes the violin. When Bulletgirl chases him he smashes the violin so nobody will have it, then escapes. Ryalva then reveals as Bulletman warned him the violin was a cheap imitation, and the real one is in a safe place. The Police are sent a jigsaw of Mr Ego's next crime. Jim puts it together, seeing a painting of a Ming Vase of the Rare Chi T'ien Dynasty. There are only 2 in the world. One is in a Museum, the other belongs to Millionaire Collector Geoffrey Chapman. Bulletman goes to the Museum, Bulletgirl to Chapman. However he is caught by a rope from above and gassed unconscious. He wakes up tied up in an Auto Freezing plant. Mr Ego turns the temperature to minus 80 and leaves Bulletman. But this makes the ropes brittle, enabling Bulletman to break free. However the iron door is locked from the outside. Bulletgirl, next to Chapman's house, hears a Ming Vase was stolen from a Museum and thinks something has happened to Bulletman. However she walks into an ambush, as she gets to the car a gun knocks her unconscious. She is tied up and told by Ego Bulletman is dead. However when the freezing plant door is opened Bulletman comes out. A crook tries to shoot him from behind but Bulletgirl bites his hand. Ego escapes while Bulletman frees Bulletgirl. She stays to watch the criminals while Bulletman chases Ego and catches him.
