Burnley is a district of Gotham City north of the Sprang River bordered by Otisburg and Newtown to the north and The Bowery to the east.

One of the major gangs, before the large gang war, was Burnley Town Massive lead by Able Crown.
Gotham (TV Series)
In this continuity, Burnley and the surrounding area was claimed by Firefly and her gang when the city bridges blew and Gotham was declared a No Man's Land.[1] Firefly's sector in Burnley was marked on Jim Gordon's map of Gotham City.[2]

- Burnley is named after artist Jack Burnley.
- Burnley also exists in the continuity of the 2019 movie Joker. Production designer Mark Friedberg included Burnley on the subway map for Gotham City that appeared in the final version of the film.[3][4]
