Synopsis for "Chapter 2"

The children take the possessed weapons home and hide them in their bedrooms. That evening Connor, the wielder of the sword possessed by Lancelot's spirit, goes with his grandmother to her bingo night. As they walk home they are followed by a black car, and when they reach the house two agents in suits come out and say they need to talk to Connor. Connor's grandmother, Marnie, invites them in and then takes Connor into the kitchen to make the agents tea. To Connor's surprise she tells him to run and get his sword, revealing that she knows about it. When he comes back down with the sword she shows him a secret tunnel accessed through their linen cabinet and tells him to run. As Connor goes into the tunnel Marnie addresses Lancelot by name and tells him to look after Connor. Lancelot replies that he will, and seems to also know Marnie. After Connor escapes Marnie goes back into the living room and tells the agents they have to the count of three to get out of her house. When they don't she pulls a battle axe out of her shopping basket and attacks them.

Connor calls the others and tells them to meet at the soccer field. He tells them all what happened and says that he thinks the agents are coming after all of them. The spirits in the weapons tell them that the men who came to Connor's house are agents of Mordred and they need to begin their training at once. Suddenly a helicopter swoops in overhead and orders them to surrender. Multiple jeeps screech in and armed men emerge to surround the kids. Kevin, notices that his weapon; a simple stick which unlike the others has never spoken, is starting to glow. He holds it over his head and it releases a burst of energy that knocks the agents back.
