Cagliostro claims to be a descendant of Alessandro Cagliostro, and is a famous stage magician.

In 1978, Count Cagliostro attempted to con millions of dollars out of the country of Quiana. To accomplish this, he had developed a process that seemingly transformed worthless metal into pure gold for a short while. Wonder Woman stopped him, but Cagliostro managed to escape.
