Cam-Nam-Lao is a planet far from Earth that was devasted by a nuclear war fought between rival corporations.
History
Cam-Nam-Lao was once home to highly-competitive corporations, whose rivalry ultimately led them to destroy each other in a nuclear war, though not before dispatching robots into space to seek out natural resources for exploitation on other worlds, including Earth and Angor. The heroes of these planets would respond to the robots' attack by journeying to Cam-Nam-Lao, where the Earth's Atom destroyed the master computer controlling the robot sent to Earth. Cam-Nam-Lao was also the site of a brief battle between his team, the Justice League of America, and the Angoran heroes, each group believing the other to be behind the robot attacks.[1]
Trivia
- The name "Cam-Nam-Lao" is an amalgamation of the names of the countries Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.
