Candy O'Connor had antic teen-age adventures with her pals and her boyfriend in post-WWII mid-America.

History

In the mid-1940s, Candace "Candy" O'Connor was a teenager, living in a suburb, with overly conventional parents and an annoying boyfriend. She and her pals spoke a unique dialect of Jive, incomprehensible to earlier or later generations of her own family and neighbors.
