Synopsis for "Bialya Bound"
The Queen Bee opens the doors of Bialya to the world of commerce and tourism. It appears that she has transformed Bialya from a poverty-stricken nation to a sea-side paradise seemingly overnight. Incredulous agents of several world powers including Captain Atom, Sarge Steel, Major Force and Rocket Red are uneasy with these state of affairs and take it upon themselves to investigate.
After staying at the Bialya Hotel for only a few days, Captain Atom realizes that he is incapable of leaving. He loves Bialya and every time he tries to leave, he grows ill. He knows that something is wrong, and this ultimately leads him into a fight with Major Force. Major Force is also in love with Bialya and has forgone his military duties and is completely loyal to the Queen Bee.
Captain Atom learns that the Queen Bee's cohort, Jack O'Lantern has implanted electrical signals into people's brains, making them physically addicted to living in Bialya. Captain Atom focuses past this addiction and is able to escape. Frustrated, he finally leaves the country, but his official report to the JLI remains inconclusive.
