Synopsis for "Girl Trouble"

Nate and General Hilary has learned that the former terrorist Plastique has been spotted in Paris, where she is preparing to offer her services to the highest bidder. Nate agrees to apprehend her with assistance from Nightshade due to her previous battle with Plastique. Before going to Paris, Nate drops by at Mellow Yellow to meet with Sally. However, he only finds Jeremiah, Sally's new employee, who is watching the store. Jeremiah explains to Nate that Sally is on an extended vacation.

Captain Atom arrives at the JLE Paris embassy and makes an apology to Catherine Cobert for his behavior on his birthday, and promise to make their relationship felt more real. But Catherine admits to Nate that they are better off as friends after realizing Nate's feelings ran deeper during the night of Nate's birthday.

Plastique demonstrates her powers to Queen Bee of Bialya by blowing up a car. Queen Bee is pleased with the results, but unknown to the Bialyan ruler Plastique is losing control of her powers. When another bidder representing for Tricorp bids for Plastique's service for four million USD, Queen Bee ups her offer to kill the rival bidder. Plastique, who is barely trying to hold back her powers, explodes the man. Nate arrives at the scene without alerting his presence after having interrogated Tricorp's hospitalized messenger boy to revealing the location of Plastique's auction. He cannot go in apprehending Plastique due to Queen Bee, as Bialya and the JLE have a "mutual non-aggression pact". Except he can only follow Plastique to her target assigned by Queen Bee.

Nate later get into contact with General Hilary to confirm Nightshade's availability. But to Nate's disappointment, Hilary informs him that Nightshade has refused to help him.

Nate follows Plastique to the cabin home of Harris Eiling, who is sheltering Noor Harjavti, the daughter of Rumaan Harjavti and leader of the Bialyan Freedom Council opposed to Queen Bee, at the behest of his son Wade. Plastique unleash an uncontrollable explosion at the house which is safely absorbed by Captain Atom. The metahuman mercenary sends another powerful burst of explosion that sends Nate reeling back before Plastique flees the scene.

Nate tracks Plastique's trail to a cave where she lies huddling in despair. Plastique reveals to Nate that her powers is tearing her apart inside, causing her pain and that she is likely to be dying. In her despair, Plastique tries to provoke Nate to kill her but to no avail before breaking down in Nate's arms and pleading for help.
