Synopsis for "The Hunt For Red Tornado"

On Veteran's Day, Nathaniel visits the Vietnam War Memorial. His visit remains short as he finds out that Red Tornado has been lost in the astral plane following their previous foray there. So Nate astral project his consciousness to the astral plane to find Tornado while his mortal body is watched over by Chester King.

During his search, Nate encounters a memory of his brother Tony, who died in the Vietnam War, and the Phantom Stranger until he finally finds Tornado. Listening through Nathaniel's words, Tornado remembers who he is but unfortunately he regains his insanity as he claims that Nate betrayed and abandoned him in the astral plane. Tornado shunts Nate in the astral plane and returns to the real world with the intent of crushing Nate's body. However, Chester manages to talk down Tornado. After Nate returns, Tornado apologizes to him and Chester.

At Smitty's Bar, Colonel Harris Eiling comes to celebrate his reunion with the airmen of the Fourteenth Air Squadron. So far he is the only one present and he waits for his comrades while regaling the patrons of his war stories in the First World War. Harris is joined by Randy and Theresa Allard. Randy shares his concerns with his step-grandfather about Theresa and her missing husband Martin.

Meanwhile, Wade Eiling reads over Colonel Keith Uber's resignation letter. Eiling signs Uber's resignation with the lasting words "good riddance."

Smitty's Bar's patrons soon left, leaving only Harris, Smitty, and Tank. Smitty and Tank realizes that Harris is the only living member of his squadron. So Harris, Tank, and Smitty have a toast to the Gallant Smitty.
