This world seems better off than the one I know, but the notion that there disciples of Captain Atom, me, is simply nauseating.

Synopsis for "A God Among Men"
"003:17:32:48 Year 6594". 20 years in the future, and it is the day before the end of the world. Captain Atom splits into multiple bodies. Everywhere he goes, there are worshippers of Chrono Mota. Finally in Libya, Captain Atom finds Ranita Carter, who is protecting religious pilgrims. She detects Atom's presence and thanks him for making her "The Hand" of his quantum superpowers.
In New York, Captain Atom finds Michael Parker in his church; sharing the gospel of Chrono Mota with supplicants. Michael tells Atom that "Today we wipe the slate clean" with an orb that will 'unleash a new genesis.' As Atom realizes that the orb was Megala's dimensional test ship, a surge of energy engulfs all of the Captain Atoms around the world.
Chrono Mota again shocks Atom; and they both follow the orb as it falls toward the center of the earth. Captain Atom feels himself being pulled away by Mota's blasts and is buried. He digs through the bedrock, not realising that he is headed the wrong direction until he hits magma. It is only then that he knows when he is, having returned to the find himself the cause of the volcano that had earlier erupted in New York. The date clock again reads "250:12:08:46 Year 6574", and Nathaniel sees his previous self explode.
Having taken on the energy of the blast, Atom is forced back into the time stream with his other selves and Chrono Mota - which causes Atom to realize "I will be Chrono Mota!"
