Synopsis for "The Case of the Missing Briefcase"
Captain Nazi is confronted by a fellow Nazi spy, Baron Gebhardt, over his constant failures to defeat Captain Marvel Jr. Gebhardt tells Nazi to follow the example of their Japanese allies and commit suicide to redeem himself. On the way out of the building, Gebhardt bumps into another man and their briefcases are switched in the confusion. Realizing this disaster and that the contents of his briefcase are in the hands of an unwitting civilian, promises to forget everything he said if Captain Nazi will retrieve it before Hitler has a chance to find out his base error. Nazi makes the mistake of catching up to the civilian while he's buying a newspaper and Freddy's stand, and in a flash of lightning, is faced down by his heroic nemesis once again. During the fight, Jr. makes the mistake of calling out to the civilian to stay as a witness, allowing Nazi to sucker-punch him unconscious and slip away.
Nazi catches up to the man at his hotel, before Jr. catches up to him. Nazi escapes again by throwing away the briefcase, but when he returns to meet Gebhardt, it turns out he took the valuable plans inside it with him. He looked at them, though, and found Gebhardt was being put in charge of a grandiose plan to destroy the headquarters of United States politics. He forces Gebhardt to write to Hitler and say Captain Nazi would be far more capable of carrying out the plan, and forces Gebhardt to shoot himself when the Baron tries to pull a gun on his treacherous comrade. Near death, Gebhardt calls the police to get revenge. Jr. also arrives and bests Captain Nazi in a fistfight.

Synopsis for "The Mirage Projector of Crime"
Sivana creates a machine to create chaotic illusions to make diversions while he robs places. Kidnapping Freddy and taking him back to the secret lab, Sivana gets kicked in the machine by Freddy and sees various dangers, not realizing they're just illusions conjured by his own erratic machine. He promises to give up crime if Captain Marvel Jr. will save him, only to groan when the young hero announces none of them were real, and Sivana only had to unplug the device. Jr. takes the stolen goods to return them, reminding Sivana of his promise to go straight, but once he's gone, the World's Wickedest Scientist announces to his daughter he has no intention of honoring it.
