Synopsis for Captain Marvel, Jr.: "The Graybeard!"
The Graybeard is an elderly criminal who has kept himself alive throughout his entire 99 year sentence out of pure hatred and bitterness and spent much of his time in prison reading, especially about other criminals. However, when he leaves prison, he blows it up with a bomb made of “kitchen fats and old match-heads” which kills the Warden. He soon storms into the HQ of known gangster Dirk Dagger and beats him with his sword-cane when he refuses to heel to him. Greybeard soon starts seizing more and more gangs under his umbrella until it starts to come up in the papers and Freddy Freeman gets involved, calling CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. to look into Dirk Dagger’s gang, who he knows are involved in the robberies. Meanwhile, the goons report that Spike and Joe were arrested and Graybeard reveals that he stole the gas out of their car for complaining about their cut of the loot. Suddenly, Junior flies in to punch through a window. Graybeard uses his walking stick’s ferrule, which can fire like a gun, only to find that he really can’t be harmed by bullets. Captain Marvel, Jr. is equally surprised to see that Graybeard is actually as old as he looks and claims to not be related to the goons. Junior even hands him a gun, only for Police HQ to say that Graybeard is the gang leader. When he gets back, Graybeard is gone.
Dirk asks him what they do now, but he thinks that they’re not going to rob a bank like police would expect, but instead seizing a delivery to the Museum of Natural History. They seal some goons into a giant “Brontysauri” egg and place it in the Main Fossil Room pretending to be laborers and later, the goons break out of the egg. Freddy, an avid fan of dinosaurs, says there is no Brontysauri and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. once more. He finds Graybeard is in charge, throwing Dirk into a dinosaur skeleton and then heaves a Cro-Magnon jawbone into Graybeard’s head. Graybeard pretends to not be able to hear well enough and pulls out his ear horn, only to reveal that it sprays tear gas and then leaps out of a window. Junior looks out and finds that he must have escaped, but that he’s sure to return… Graybeard, elsewhere, says that he’s going to feel his wrath and he didn’t do 99 years for nothing!

Synopsis for Captain Marvel, Jr.: "The Crime Wave"
Freddy Freeman learns there’s a crime wave in New Town City, Alaska, and that “Gold Mine” Gus got out of jail. He decides to look into it further and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. He soon takes off and finds there’s two police forces in New Town City due to the city election ending in a tie. Despite this, they find the two police forces mostly fight each other, run by Mantle and Shaw. Due to their constant fighting, crime continues unabated. Gold Mine Gus son arrives with another goon, Hall, and Junior finds out from the Stationmaster that if the gold were mined, it would flood New Town City. Junior decides to look into things more covertly as Freddy to find out when they’re going to attack the dam. However, soon after, Gus and Hall spot him and capture him, leaving him bound and gagged next to a tree. They decide they’ll have to take him with them and they head off to blow up the dam with dynamite, dangling Freddy next to where it’ll explode, where it’ll either explode him or he’ll be drowned by the water that comes through. Freddy manages to swing back far enough by his ankles that the water slips his gag and he calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. Junior pushes the blasted piece back into place to hold the dam together and orders the two police forces to work together to keep the goons from escaping the dam from either side. Later, they start to get back to arguing about who actually contributed, but Junior reminds them that they worked together and that’s what made it work. They agree to do so from now on and Junior flies off.

Synopsis for Capt. Marvel, Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. and The Man Who Fell Up!"
Freddy Freeman is peddling papers when he hears a crowd of laughing people surrounding a man who thinks that he’s going to fall into the sky. They laugh less when he does and Freddy calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to save him as Captain Marvel, Jr. The man says his name is Dr. Martin and that his partner, Sam King, discovered a powerful anti-gravity chemical that will do the same. However, Sam has gone crazy and wants to use the drug to conquer America and hired goons to try to kill him. To escape with the formula, he drank it himself and tried to make it to the police. Sam King runs up and tries to shoot him, but Junior takes the shots for him and the goons quickly retreat. Junior has a big police cordon brought in to keep Dr. Martin safe and then returns to being Freddy, who wants to lure King in. King orders his goon Lefty to go kill Dr. Martin while he goes back to the lab to make more supplies. Lefty dashes in to the lab where the police have Dr. Martin and dumps anti-gravity chemical on the floor, making the large iron block that Dr. Martin has chained himself to (for the weight) is also now floating. Freddy tries to sneak in, but the goons ambush him sneaking into a window and leave him bound and gagged in a chest with the anti-gravity drug covering it!
Sam dreams of using it to make skyscrapers fall into the sky next as both Dr. Martin and Freddy float into oblivion. Freddy manages to slip his gag on his knees and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to break free of the safe and then drags Dr. Martin back to safety. Sam and his gang try to drop anti-gravity chemical on the Meteor Building and Junior shoves Dr. Martin into a car and goes to pull it back down. Unfortunately, most of Sam’s gang dumped the chemical on themselves, but Junior holds down the Meteor Building until the effect wears off in a couple hours. The goons, along with the rest of the anti-gravity chemical, have now fallen into space.
