Quote1 Wait! Blue... Blue! That gives me a great idea! Where's that invention I worked on and never finished?... This was my Vibrator Gun! It was supposed to destroy things by vibration, except that it never worked! But I've just thought of a way to fix it! I've adjusted it to shine out a blue vibration! When the blue vibration hits any blue object, it will cause the atoms to fly apart! It's like a shrill note shattering glass, only this will be much more powerful! Aha! It works! It blew that picture of Capt. Marvel, Jr., with his blue suit to shreds! And it will do the same to him in person! Quote2

Synopsis for Capt. Marvel Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. Helps His Neighbors"

Freddy Freeman finds his new newsstand on the corner of Oak and Main is a nice place and is across from O’Riley’s Gas Station, run by war veteran Red O’Riley. He offers Freddy come along with him to a Business Men’s Guild at Community Hall. He reveals that his reason for calling this meeting is that he’s worried someone is using the Gonigle Flower Shop as a front to do crimes, but they have yet to prove it. Since Freddy’s new newsstand is right in front of it, he implores Freddy keep an eye on it for them. He soon finds that Mr. Gonigle is a shifty-looking man who accepts packs of “flowers,” but when he trips one of the goons, he finds the boxes are empty and calling CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Junior again to catch him. Officer Jim arrives to arrest the goon, Slug, for questioning and hope that he’ll spill something about the case, though Junior thinks he may not. He returns to being Freddy so he can try to buy some flowers, but Gonigle tells him to basically get lost until one of his goons runs in and says that Slug got arrested and by Freddy, prompting Gonigle to grab Freddy in a headlock. When he’s bound and gagged in his backroom, he finds that Gonigle is an illegal bookie, taking bets on horse races for criminals and Gonigle starts a fire to burn down his flower shop and skip town with the money. Freddy manages to slip his gag on a rose bush by shoving his face into it and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Junior once more. Gonigle tries to light O’Riley’s Gas Station on fire to distract them and the place quickly explodes with a gasoline truck in front of them going up too, sending a flaming truck through town. Junior retrieves Red from the burning station and Sam Bond, the Fire Chief, arrives to put out the fire. Junior stops in front of the gas truck and it crashes into him, breaking down. He whips a tire form it into Gonigle and his goon and the two fall over. He soon turns them over to Officer Jim. Later, Freddy is happy Fire Chief Bond helped so much and Red says that his gas station is back up and running again and offers he come with him to the guild again, holding a meeting in honor of him!
