Synopsis for Capt. Marvel, Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. and the Man Who Lived Forever!"

Prof. Guphledoph is a doddering scientist who is busy wandering into oncoming traffic. Freddy calls to him and then calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. to swoop him off the street to safety. However, Guphledoph says that someone have been trying to kill him: a man who lives forever! As far as his studies show, he killed the Pharaoh Ras-Ankh-Amen, lit the fire that destroyed the Library of Alexandria and was a key player in Custer’s Massacre. Now, he’s come after him too. The Professor finds at home later that the Forever Man has lived to 1941, but the world has since lost track of him… until he breaks into Gulphedoph’s house himself! Outside, Officer Jim finds the Professor’s glasses on the street and Freddy offers to return them to him, since he and Jim play chess together often. Hearing a scream from the Professor’s house, he calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Junior again and drags him off of his friend. The man speaks a strange language that the Professor describes as “Pre-Sanskrit” and that he likely speaks it when surprised, like most people do with their native language. Junior offers the Professor stay at Officer Jim’s house to stay safe, so he does. Meanwhile, the Forever Man drinks a special potion that lets him live forever, but finds it’ll only keep him topped up until sunset tomorrow. He intends to pull of an amazing crime, but decides he must kill the Professor due to him accidentally discovering his immortality. Meanwhile, Junior looks through all of the Professor’s research on the Forever Man and that he’s lived in New York City for about six years or so, so he decides to call Officer Jim to come in to pick up the gangster. However, the Forever Man instead sneaks out and attacks Jim at his own house. Junior hears it over the phone and the Forever Man tries to shoot the Professor, only for Junior to dash in and take the bullet for him. However, the Forever Man knocks over a lamp and tries to escape, but Junior kicks him in the back and he is arrested. The next afternoon, he asks Junior to get his potion so he doesn’t just die, but when Junior gets there, he finds that the Forever Man didn’t make any more for himself. He finds his criminal plans and is stunned to find that he was really going to commit the worst crime in history. When he gets back, he’s already dead and Freddy says that later the cops destroyed his immortality formula as “too dangerous a secret to be possessed by any man!”

Red O’Riley finds that a goon is there with a bag to put his money in and a gun to ask for it with. Freddy Freeman, nearby, is none the wiser looking at the paper. Red flings a handful of change in the goon’s face and Freddy heats shots, calling CAPTAIN MARVEL to become Captain Marvel, Jr. However, when he tries to stop him from pistol-whipping Red in the face, he punches him and… his head falls off! Red falls into a grease pit and Junior goes after him as the Headless Mugger disappears. He returns several times, robbing several people, but each time he has a different head altogether! Freddy spots him soon due to his striped coat and sees that he is going to see a free lecture from the famed surgeon, Dr. Slicer, who claims that he’s saved a patient by removing their head and implanting the brain into the chest, which is what happened with this amazing 100 Headed Criminal. He soon attacks Freddy and drags him back to his workshop, bound and gagged, where he has 100 heads and says he’s going to steal Freddy’s instead, showing him his new guillotine. When he leaves to let Freddy die though, Freddy twists his head around to have his gag cut off to call CAPTAIN MARVEL before it can cut off his head and becomes Junior once more. He lies with his head in the basket to scare him and then punches him out, arresting him and his whole gang of one. Later, Freddy reads that the Man with 100 Heads is now in prison for a long time.

Synopsis for Captain Marvel, Jr.: "Captain Marvel, Jr. and the Merry Merman!"

Freddy Freeman finds a woman who needs directions and she says that she’s going to be working as a private secretary to a health faddist named Jerry Lifejoy. However, when she arrives there, she faints seeing that Lifejoy is in a giant fish tank but one made for people. Hearing her scream, Freddy calls CAPTAIN MARVEL and flies in to ask what’s going on. Lifejoy reveals he created a “Biological Serum” that lets him breathe water because he enjoys the feeling of it. However, he can’t take notes while underwater due to not having any paper, so he hired a secretary. She recovers and then faints again promptly when she sees him in the tank, but ends up elbowing the glass, breaking it and suffocating Lifejoy with air! Junior flies Lifejoy to the river where he can breathe and offers that he can move things to his seashore cottage and has Junior bring the secretary along… if she won’t faint. Luckily, she has recovered while Lifejoy has changed into a full diving suit full of water so he can consult notes with his hands. The next day, he returns to find that Lifejoy leapt into the ocean to go find “mermaids,” but Junior finds he’s being attacked by an ugly mermaid, which destroys his entire interest in breathing water and living under the sea, instead drinking a different potion to breathe air again. Lifejoy finds that his secretary is actually quite beautiful and asks her to marry him! She accepts and Junior leaves.
