Captain Marvel, Jr. #6 is an issue of the series Captain Marvel, Jr. (Volume 1) with a cover date of April, 1943.
Synopsis for "The Nightmare Studio of Sabbac"
Tim Karnes uses his magic word to change to his demonic form and escape jail, but is attacked by Captain Marvel Junior as soon as Freddy overhears a broadcast of the escape. Since he can't defeat Junior physically, as their power is too close to each other's, Sabbac tries to destroy his rival's fighting spirit. He does this using a "nightmare projector" to create a dream where Freddy can't say his own magic word, only "Sabbac", which gives him a weaker form than the real Sabbac. Unfortunately he soon wakes up and is back to normal, allowing Freddy to transform and fly off to thwart Sabbac's plan to demoralize a theater with a movie about the power of Hell. Again the demons abandon Sabbac one by one as they realize they can't win, until Tim Karnes is stripped of his powers and easily apprehended.

Synopsis for "Captain Marvel, Jr. Battles On Another World"
Shooting stars fall over the world, quickly growing into trees that bear poisonous fruit, and grow so fast they're soon threatening to choke out native vegetation. They originated on Mars, and Freddy transforms to fly there. On the red planet, he meets--and is immediately attacked by--the large green natives. He flies to the palace of the ruler, and studies a Martian dictionary at super-speed to teach himself the language. The angry-looking King introduces himself, as Kull, and demands to know who the intruder is. Junior makes the mistake of saying his name, which transforms him back into a helpless teen who the Martians easily captured and imprison.
In the dungeon, another Martian named Kylar comes up and undoes Freddy's gag. He explains Kull's a tyrant and most of the Martians despise him, but he has the weight of the administration against his back. Kylar and Junior gather a group of supporters and storm the palace. In the coup, Junior throws a statue of Kull on the dictator himself, crushing him to death. With Kull gone, and the cannon that shot the deadly seeds to Earth destroyed, Junior returns to Earth. As Freddy, he joins in chopping down all the Martians trees.

He paints his victim's head green and puts his shoes on the wrong feet, but is caught in the act by Captain Marvel Jr., who'd been delivering an evening paper for the victim. Junior realizes it's none other than his old enemy Mister Macabre, who isn't safely in jail like he thought. Macabre dumps the entire coal load on Junior, and manages to escape before he gets free.
Freddy soon hears that Chinese agent Wong Chu had been staying at the Greenhead Hotel when he was murdered, and figures out that "Wong Chu" equates to "wrong shoes" and the green head of the coal yard victim, was actually Mister Macabre passing along information to Nazi confederates without running the risk of meeting them in person. Instead, by committing headline-grabbing murders that everyone in the city and even ships at sea would hear about. Soon another bizarre murder's committed, with the victim found wearing clown makeup and rubber boots. Captain Marvel Jr. arrives and asks the reporters on the scene to print something even more inane in their articles, which gets Macabre's compatriots to try to rob a bank that evening, where they're quickly surrounded by police. Having heard over the radio that his message was tampered with, Macabre himself shows up to kill everyone with a tommy gun, including his fellow Nazis for their incompetence.
