Notes

  • "The Monsters of Saturn" was reprinted in Shazam!: The Greatest Stories Ever Told.
  • The entire issue was reprinted in Special Editions Reprints #10 and The Shazam! Archives Vol. 2.
    • In this story, Captain Marvel has a rocketship, which was confiscated from a wicked scientist in an earlier adventure. In the 4th story of Special Edition Comics #1, Captain Marvel ended up in possession of a Sivana-built rocketship. Sivana is not explicitly named in the present story, but has famously been termed the "World's Wickedest Scientist."
    • That rocketship gets blown up by the Dragon Men, but at the end of the story, Cap flies back to Earth in a rocketship.

Trivia

  • In "Out West," a villain exclaims "Carajo." This is a very bad word in Spanish, which the censor missed due to it being in a foreign language.
