Synopsis for Captain Marvel: "Captain Marvel Battles Sivana's Capsule Kingdom"
Billy Batson is having a brisk morning walk to work to Station WHIZ, only to find that a gigantic field of white nothingness has taken the place of a whole block and local beat cops are just as confused. The next day, another block disappears and Billy calls SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel. In the night, he discovers that adjoining parts of the city are gone again and there’s also been an acid leak at a nearby plant! After getting a huge blast of acid in his face and sealing the tank though, Captain Marvel finds he seems to be growing larger by the second and has to fly out of the plant before he cracks it. However, Captain Marvel soon finds the rest of the block is shrinking itself and nearby finds Doctor Sivana chuckling, having used his Atomizer Ray to shrink parts of the city! Captain Marvel punches him in the head, but Sivana threatens to stomp parts of town to break them. With a pair of tweezers, he starts working on a small plant he’s stealing and soon finds Captain Marvel following him in the woods. He threatens to smash everyone in the box, forcing Captain Marvel to leave and return to Station WHIZ to look at if there’s a pattern to what he’s doing. He soon figures out that the Station WHIZ Building will be in the next block so he returns Billy to wait it out inside so he can find out where Sivana has created a giant hodgepodge city under glass of his own. He smirks that Station WHIZ is now here and that he knows Billy is inside! Billy decides to let him keep monologuing to tell him his whole plan. Sivana proceeds to tell him his whole plan of starting a “Capsule Kingdom” he can keep literally under his thumb. What’s more, he points out that if Billy calls SHAZAM, he’ll summon Captain Marvel at full size, destroying the residents of the Capsule Kingdom. Sivana shakes the WHIZ Building until Billy runs out of it and starts trying to hit him with a claw hammer, he manages to run off of the edge of the table and calls SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel, who punches Sivana in the head and demands he restore the city to normal size. The next day, Billy signs off saying that Sivana made a big mistake with this little plot and is feeling small himself!

Synopsis for Capt. Kid: "The Big Surprise"
Betty Mae reminds Captain that the big dance is that night! Captain Kid is more than eager as she reminds him to also be there at 7:30pm so they can get there early and he should wear a nice suit. He promises to surprise her and rides off to Jackson’s Fashionable Clothes where he is going to get a dazzling sports outfit he saw in the window. Captain Kid asks if he can have it ready by 5:00pm and says that he’s going to clean out Mr. Thompson’s cellar to make the rest of the money he needs. He soon heads down and a dirty Captain Kid has to race over to Jackson’s to grab his suit. A woman sets down a second box next to the one Captain Kid needs and he grabs it. He finds it’s 6:30pm now and he doesn’t have time to take a proper bath, so he instead throws out his old clothes and bathes in the river. Captain Kid finds that he has a blue dress and races back to town in the outfit he doesn’t want, but finds Jackson’s is closed. He runs off to tell Betty Mae what happened. Pudgy is astonished to see Captain Kid has arrived in a dress and Betty Mae is offended. Captain Kid goes home dejected and finds his mother got the package from Mr. Jackson and that he needs that ballet dress back! Captain Kid returns to the dance in his dazzling sports outfit, having to make the girls sign tickets for who gets to dance with him next!

Synopsis for Mr. Tawky Tawny: "Captain Marvel and Mr. Tawny's Bouncing Shoes"
Billy Batson is visiting his friend Mr. Tawky Tawny, who has invented a new pair of “Bouncing Shoes” made of a secret “Elastic Plastic” that makes walking flighty and bouncy. He reveals further that he’s going into production soon and creates the Tawny Bouncing Shoe Company to make his bouncing shoes. After a few weeks, he is able to hire a secretary, Miss Blair, and an employee, Smith. Mr. Tawny soon finds he has no time for lunch with Billy and that he hasn’t been sleeping. He takes some “indigestion pills” and suddenly is peppy and excited again that he’s become a “tycoon.” However, after some time, Billy finds that these shoes bounce all wrong and nearly dump him face-first before he calls SHAZAM! Captain Marvel quickly stops the sales and saves people from their unsafe shoes and presumes that these shoes weren’t tested properly and become more bouncy with age. Mr. Tawny is in despair that his business has failed and shoves a bunch of money into a briefcase and jumps into the river. However, Mr. Tawny reveals he was actually going to return all the money, but his failing Bouncing Shoes made him fall in the river anyways. Captain Marvel is proud that Mr. Tawny is an upright citizen, even if he’s no longer a tycoon.

Synopsis for Captain Marvel: "Captain Marvel and the Lost Island of Ice"
Billy Batson is doing a special report on air traffic across the North Pole, the supposed shortest rout between the major continents, but is a problem of bad weather. To that end, Mr. Morris has built WHIZ Weather Station at Ice Point, near the North Pole and Mr. Morris and him are going to dedicate its opening and they’ll soon be broadcasting from the Arctic. They’re soon on a plane heading to Ice Point as the weather gets bad, underlining the need for this weather station to report on such blizzards. Mr. Morris tries to stabilize them, but one of the wings tears off, forcing Billy to call SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel. He soon rubs his hands together hard enough that he can weld the wing back on, wakes up Mr. Morris and then returns Billy, thinking that nothing happened in between. They soon land at WHIZ Weather Station and Billy starts his report to say they’re fully operational in the Arctic Circle. The next day, Mr. Morris and Billy head out to look at the barren tundra and find a polar bear frozen in the permafrost. Billy worries that it seems to be getting warmer and Billy soon reports that it’s getting up to 40°F and rising and people are starting to get uncomfortable in their parkas. Mr. Morris goes to take a picture of the frozen bear, but soon finds it’s not frozen and Billy calls SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel to throw the polar bear on his head. Before he can stop it any further, a technician runs in and says that their supply plane is lost and running low on fuel, prompting Captain Marvel to go right their plane.
However, the Pilot soon tells Captain Marvel that Ice Point is now missing, since it was built on top of permafrost too and is Lost on an Island of Ice. Unfortunately, the Polar Bear is also on the Island and starts to tree Mr. Morris on their radio tower until Captain Marvel shakes it lightly, knocking the bear unconscious when it falls and ties up the bear. Mr. Morris warns that the ice floe itself is breaking down over time, forcing Captain Marvel to push it back 600 miles north into place among the Arctic Circle and WHIZ Weather Station is reestablished. Meanwhile, the unfrozen Prehistoric Polar Bear is now friendly and happy.

- Despite the cover, Doctor Sivana doesn't shrink himself, instead keeping himself in a place of largeness so he can try to hit parts of New York City with a hammer.
- Mr. Tawny's Elastic Plastic comes years before the Amazing Elastic Plastic, a mildly-toxic children's balloon liquid that was recalled in America and banned in Canada.
