Synopsis for "Mr. Tawny...Hermit"

Tawny's overwhelmed by fans wanting to see the real talking tiger. He tries to scare them off using a lionskin rug, but this gets them to attack his house instead to try to get rid of the wild beast. He escapes in the confusion and decides to go back to living in the wild, only to realize he doesn't know how anymore after being civilized for so long. He accidentally causes a forest fire and a cattle stampede. After Captain Marvel puts everything right, Tawny asks to be taken back to civilization just in time for his birthday party.

Synopsis for "Billy Batson's Double Life"

Billy visits Professor Edgewise, who's invented fantastic new pills...but can't remember what they were for. After Captain Marvel saves two-bit crook Peewee Pipp who was thrown into a sand pit by his former boss, Dagger Dugan, Edgewise offers him an aspirin and accidentally gives him one of the pills he just invented instead. As Pipp soon learns, the pill gave him super-strength! The first thing he does is go to get even with his old boss, and pushes the entire house over onto the gang! Dagger Dugan blames Captain Marvel to the police for destroying the house, trying to kill him and stealing his list of plans, and at first he isn't believed, but the officer has to acknowledge his point when Dugan asks who else is that strong. The cop tries to arrest Marvel, who escapes by changing back to Billy. Pipp continues to perform crimes of great strength, and Captain Marvel keeps getting the blame, with police detectives tailing Billy as they suspect he knows something. He jumps onto a roller coaster, and before it returns to the station and reveals their double identity, Captain Marvel captures Pipp and ties him up in anchor chains. He confesses to his crimes, and Marvel's name is cleared.
