Synopsis for "The Monster Society of Evil, Chapter 13: The Floating Terror"

The giant shell touches down on Russian soil, but doesn't go off. By lucky chance, it's a dud. Mr. Mind manages to slip through Captain Marvel's grip and escapes through a handy animal tunnel on his way back to Nazi territory. Having lost track of his archenemy once again, Captain Marvel stays behind to help repair the damage to the local buildings brought down by the giant shell and its crash landing.

A few days later, a patrol plane discovers a mysterious island north of Scotland that had never been there before. Later a British naval destroyer investigates and finds the new island not to be where it was reported. Not there because now it's even closer to Scottish shores. The sailors land on it to investigate, only for cannons to emerge from the island and sink their ship. Looking into reports of the strange island himself, Captain Marvel arrives and finds it to be a floating Nazi fortress created by none other than Mr. Mind, and the British sailors frozen alive.

After saving them, he changes back to Billy to report what he's learned via his broadcast. Suddenly Nazi troops emerge from hiding and gun down the British sailors before taking Billy hostage. At Mr. Mind's direction they tie him to a cannon barrel so that the first shot when they invade England with their floating island will blow Billy to pieces.
