Synopsis for "Capt. Marvel Gets the Golden Fleece"

In Greece, an obscure cult worships a dog, and their prophet declares that the sacred animal demands to have golden fleas. Fortunately, one cult member believes he's seen such specimens in a "Museum of Oddities". Which Billy happens to be visiting just as the cult members arrive and abduct the golden parasites. Captain Marvel agrees to go after the cultists, mishearing the fleas' owner that they've made off with the legendary golden fleece. The cultists lose him by flying their plane into a dark cloud, but Cap's able to find out where they came from by checking the flight log at the airport. Ironic, as next the prophet interprets the scared dog as being cold, and sends out his underlings to steal an actual golden fleece this time, which they swipe from a store in town, but seeing the men returning to their temple with a golden fleece like he was after them for, Cap gives chase. The cultists try to give him the slip with all the secret passages in their temple, but ultimately he manages to sneak into their latest ceremony and capture them. He turns over the golden fleece to the owner of the golden fleas, which the golden fleas have infested, so he returns what was actually stolen without realizing it.
