Synopsis for "The Cardiff Giant"
An unsavory type known as Ratrap comes to the owner of a circus who dismisses him, until Ratrap unveils the savage giant he discovered in the jungles of Brazil. He offers the primitive specimen as a new act for the circus, but alludes to bigger plans he has and takes the circus owner to a bar to discuss them. At this bar, Captain Marvel is hanging out dressed like a normal man and being a smart alec asking the bartender for a strawberry soda. When the bartender tries to sock him one to show how they treat wiseguys, Marvel easily heaves him over the bar. Ratrap offers him a hundred bucks to wrestle the giant the next day, which makes him suspicious and decide to trail the men as Billy.
This leads him to a bank where Ratrap has his giant rip the vault door off its hinges. Marvel easily overpowers the giant, but the hero has to flee as well so he isn't blamed for tearing the doors open. The crooks kidnap Billy, since he must be Marvel's partner, but he refuses to be intimidated. He's thrown into the giant's cage, but transforms. Every time Marvel fends off the giant, though, he returns bigger and more powerful than before! After finally managing to defeat him so many times the giant stays down, Marvel discovers there were actually three savage brothers. He leaves a message in the Captain Marvel Club code telling the police to return them to Brazil.
