Synopsis for "The Radio Plague"

Sivana has a dream about being king of the world after replacing the humans who've rejected him with aliens, and mummifying Billy Batson as a trophy of his conquest. When he wakes up, he comes up with a plan to make the dream a reality.

Soon a town's wiped out by a strange plague. Captain Marvel flies to the town to investigate, and changes back to Billy because the sickness won't hurt his indestructible form. Sivana takes this opportunity to jump out and club Billy on the head, having waited for Marvel to make himself vulnerable. Sivana reveals he's come up with a fantastic device that can broadcast sickness over radio waves, and plans to use that to wipe out humanity to make room for a race of aliens he's already invited to inhabit the planet and rule over. The convulsions from the influenza shake Billy's gag off. He transforms and destroys the machine. Having seen Sivana isn't the powerful figure he passed himself of as, the aliens agree to leave peacefully.
