Carlo di Rienzi was a member of the first Secret Six.

History

Carlo di Rienzi was a Italian stage magician who fell into serious trouble with the mafia, whom he refused to pay his protection money to them. Consequently, his house was bombed; his wife was killed and his son was crippled. He was discovered by a mysterious individual known only as Mockingbird, who arranged treatment for Carlo's son in exchange for Carlo's services in the Secret Six. Later, following the death of the original Mockingbird, Carlo would take up the name while guiding a new era of the team.
