History

When Diana of Themyscira first started out as a hero in the United States the Boston Globe-Leader was one of the earliest papers to cover her exploits, to the point that she had no known name. Carole chose to dub her "Wonder Woman" for the double Ws on her chest. Carole ended up fielding many calls from other papers about the new hero.
