Hawkman was a member of the Justice League, before becoming one of the Anti-Living.
History
Hawkman was cursed to reincarnation after every death along with his lover Hawkgirl. In one of their past lives, the two had fought against the mummies in the burial chambers of Giza. In his incarnation as Carter Hall, he was a superhero and member of the Justice League, as well as the over of the Hawkgirl Kendra Saunders. He went with Kendra to assist the defenders of Jotunheim against the Anti-Living, after the League was contacted by Wonder Woman, and helped in beating them back into the portal created by Nightshade. While he was distracted, he was grabbed by Manticore before it closed and later infected.[1]
He later assaulted the survivors on Nantucket along with the Anti-Living horde led by Black Adam, but the heroes were able to help them successfully escape.[2]
