Casey Brock was involved in a LuthorCorp project to study the remains of Brainiac.
History
However, the liquid was freed and took possession of Casey's body. Casey remained possessed by Brainiac, until he was strong enough to assume human form. Casey was found and taken to the Isis Foundation, where she kept speaking Kryptonian, until she passed away.
