Cassandra Cain was a member of the Court of Owls until her death.

After humanity turned to evil and was presumed to have brutally killed her mentor Batman, Cassandra fought with her comrades in the conflicts that followed. One day, a new villain named Omega arose and used the Anti-Life Equation to subjugate Gotham, including Cassandra and the rest of the Batman Family. Unbeknownst to them, Omega was Bruce, having been turned to evil himself. The family was controlled by Omega for years until Tim Drake developed a blocker against the Equation, freeing Cassandra and hundreds of other people. The group became freedom fighters and adopted the symbol of the owl, as the symbol of the bat was corrupted.

Upon learning that Omega was creating a new amplifier for the Equation that no blocker could protect against, the Court launched an attack. They failed, and Cassandra was among the fallen.

Her costume was kept by the Court in the Owl-Cave as a memorial.[1]
