Catalina Flores is the Tarantula, a Mexican vigilante armed with a webgun.
History
When her hometown of Ciudad Juárez was overrun by the death cult of the Bone Hunters, Catalina was asked to rescue her abducted cousin Sofia. She learned all she could of her foe, and traveled to Seattle to meet up with Green Arrow and his wolf George. She knew George was coveted by the cult for his skull, and hoped she could trade it for Sofia. She easily won Green Arrow's trust by saving him from the Bone Hunters, and brought him to Juárez.
They were captured by the Hunters, and their leader revealed Catalina's plan to Ollie. Catalina originally wanted to sacrifice Ollie to save her cousin. They managed to break free of their ties and freed Sofia. Catalina and Sofia escaped, leaving Ollie behind. Later, Catalina feels remorseful, so she goes back to rescue Ollie and kill the cartel leader. In the end, Catalina and Ollie manage to kill him, and they kiss.
