Chemical Catalysis

Sometimes called "chemical reaction control", Chemical Catalysis is the ability to initiate, manipulate and absorb chemical reactions that lead to the transformation of one set of chemical substances to another. Ordinarily, the reaction happens due to the participation of a substance called a "catalyst". In the case of characters that have this ability they become the catalyst and can provide for a variety of effects such as inducing rust or speeding up someone's aging process.
