Cosmic Awareness

Cosmic Awareness is the power to perceive and understand the workings of the universe on a cosmic level. More than just knowing that the multiverse outside of their own exists, characters who possess this power have a distinct connection to the world outside their own. The nature of such a power varies with each individual. Characters such as the Phantom Stranger and the Guardians of the Universe possess this ability to such a degree, that they can even perceive knowledge of events that take place outside the static reality of their native dimension.

More extreme versions of this power may enable individuals to break the Fourth Wall, acknowledging their own existence within a medium for entertainment, such as a comic book or TV show. Ambush Bug and Animal Man have both demonstrated this ability throughout their respective careers.
