Empathy

Empathy represents the ability to perceive, replicate and correctly interpret other people's emotions. This power is vast in nature and can be used to accomplish many different things. Characters often only possess one or two of the many skills listed below.

Examples of this ability are:

• Stealing emotions from others, rendering them emotionally "numb".
• Discern the truth and tell when someone's lying as well as uncover their true intentions.
• Absorbing the pain of injured people to ease their suffering, and induce rapid healing.
• Using ones own emotions as well as those around them to increased your muscle mass, granting the onesleft superhuman strength.
• Track people by reading their emotions and the imprints they left behind.
• Sense others by sensing their feelings, as well as learn their past and secret desires among other things.
• Manipulate the feelings of others as well as stimulate a person's neural system to an incredible state of ecstasy or agony, even to the point of cardiac arrest.
• Feel other peoples emotions and gain other abilities, such as the ability to unleash bolts of red lightning when absorbing anger.
• Absorb other peoples emotions and use it create constructs, such as giant hands and protective shields.

While all human beings possess empathy to some degree, this power represents an ability greater than that which a normal human is capable of, as explained above.
