Piracy

Sometimes compared with "thievery", Piracy is a term used to describe the ability of some characters to rob or extort someone on open waters. Employed mainly by pirates, the term does not only apply to just water. Piracy can occur on beaches, shores, airplanes and airships. Piracy is an overarching ability that includes boarding, extortion, hostage taking, kidnapping, murder, robbery, sabotage, seizure, and / or shipwrecking. Although these may be broad abilities they must include criminal acts "mainly" at sea.
