Catwoman aids Nina Skorzeny, of the freakish band Scare Tactics, as a favor to Arnold Burnsteel, the ring leader of that group and former compatriot of Fate. As luck would have it, Catwoman has snatched a magical lance from the chest of a sarcophagus that kept in check an ancient evil entity, Khatta-Khun. As the demon hunts for his blade, Catwoman needs the help of Scream Queen, to whom this kind of situation is second nature.
