Catwoman (Volume 2) #39 is an issue of the series Catwoman (Volume 2) with a cover date of November, 1996.

Synopsis for "Year 2, Part Two: Night Moves"

Penguin and Joker leave rather than go along with Two-Face's revenge against Catwoman, saying they are free to do what they want and they intend to do it. Two-Face recruits a group of criminals (whom he put away as the District Attorney) to join his vendetta by staking out Babylon Towers where Catwoman is rumored to be based.

Joker hits GCPD Headquarters with Joker Venom, and when Jim Gordon uses the Bat-Signal to call for help, it instead shows a grinning Joker smile. Batman arrives and arrests Joker, only to learn from Gordon that the museum has been robbed. Catwoman has taken "the Golden Dollhouse," an Ancient Egyptian artifact, because she envies the golden dolls for their stable family, preserved through the millennia.

Catwoman returns to her hideout near Babylon Towers where one of Two-Face's henchmen spots her and reports in. She places the Golden Dollhouse there to return to later, but Two-Face and his henchmen surround her with guns on her way out. Two-Face tells her the Coin has decided the sentence is death, and they're here to execute it.
